Gone But Not Forgotten

Hello to you, my family, I've taken this chance to say, I wish I could be with you now, to watch you work and play.

Alas this could not be because I have gone to stay with God and his other loved ones, though not really too far away.

Although you cannot see me, I haven't abandoned you, I watch silently and lovingly, from in Heaven down to you.

I know you won't forget me, no matter what comes by, and though I didn't say, "so long", you know and understand why.

I wish I could say "I love you", I wish I could cuddle you near, but I can tell you to be happy, and dry away each tear.

One day we'll be together, in Heaven, on high, above. But remember always and ever, you still have each other's love.
