Fire of Love
Love is like a fire and it glows within your heart. But it becomes a dying ember when two lovers have to part. To me your are my fire, you're so deep in my heart. Don't let it turn to embers, don't ever let us part. My token of love I offer, please take it and share it true. I won't cause you pain or sorrow and I'll never make you blue. So when you read this poem remember now and again, that I wish there were no tomorrows so our love could never end. Composed by Maureen Murray 21 March 1971Submit Your Poems
