Conor
Composed by Maureen Murray in October 1994
Our darling little grandson Conor
What a day when you were born!
Your daddy's day was wonderful,
Your mummy's all forlorn.
Your dad became a dad
And also passed his test.
But your mam had pain and sorrow
With very little rest.
You, yourself, had a bad day
Both you and your mam were stressed.
But someone up there looked after you
Because you're one of the best.
They also looked after your mum
And pulled the both of you through.
We say a big THANK YOU to someone
'Cause without you both what would we do.
